Water Release Schedule: Always check before you float or fish the Chattahoochee River. Water is subject to rapid rise from scheduled dam release and can be dangerous. Lifejackets must be worn by anyone fishing or boating above the Highway 20 bridge in Buford. For water release info please call:

Rattler Ford Fishing/Camping Trip - October 2005
The 2005 Fall camping/fishing trip was a success!  Everyone had a great time and good fishing was had by all.  The trip took our group to Rattler Ford located in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest near Robbinsville, NC.  Fishing around the area included Santeetlah Creek and Big Snowbird Creek.  We had great weather and the campsite was wonderful.  “Junior” our new club mascot could be seen around the camp kitchen looking for treats.  He was there guarding the campsite but didn’t make a peep when a pack of hunting dogs came through at 5am.  All in all the trip was a success.  Look for another camping trip to a new location to be scheduled in May of 2006.
